To graduate with a major in sociology, you must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.00 for all sociology courses.

A major in sociology consists of nine or more courses, each of which must be at least three credits, and must include:

  • SOC-101, 301, 302, 303, 470,
  • at least two sociology courses numbered 
between 200 and 299,
  • one more sociology course numbered 
between 400 and 499, and
  • at least one more course in sociology
