Prospective students
Our theatre arts program is recognized as one of the most
comprehensive among liberal arts colleges. Rather than focusing exclusively on performance or design and technical production, you'll explore every aspect of the theatre experience. Our program introduces aspiring artists to everything from theatre history and
playwriting to makeup and sound design. Our students even have
the opportunity to experience British and Irish theatre and culture through our
study away program.
Founded on the central principles of the liberal arts, our program also
allows you to pursue your wide-ranging interests and ideas. You’ll explore how theatre arts is connected to other disciplines, and see things from multiple
perspectives. And by the time you graduate, we’ll transform you into a
first-rate problem solver, one who thinks deeply and develops creative
solutions to complex problems. That will open you to a wide variety of career options, including many in the entertainment industry.
