Theatre Arts Scholarships and Aid Furman University

We welcome all interested students to become Theatre Arts majors at Furman. There is no audition needed to become a major, but you do have to gain admittance into the university first.

Don't miss the deadline! Here are important dates for 2019 applicants:

  • Early Decision deadline November 1, 2018. Notified November 15, 2018.
  • Early Action deadline November 1, 2018. Notified December 20, 2018.
  • Regular Decision deadline January 15, 2019. Notified February 15, 2019.

Apply for aid

To be considered for any need-based financial assistance, you must complete the CSS Profile and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Financial aid packages usually have a combination of Furman need-based grants and/or Merit-based Scholarships, federal/state grants and loans, and work-study. Be sure to review the deadlines for these forms.

Many students also apply for scholarships administered by agencies and organizations outside of Furman by using online resources like Fastweb, FinAid, and the College Board.
