Host Departments
Individuals with non-U.S. citizenship may be invited to come to Furman for the purpose of short-term educational and cultural exchange. When departments would like to invite such a person to teach, consult, or perform research, that department serves as the host. Keep in mind that in order to allow sufficient time for visitors to receive the necessary invitation and apply for a visa, the application below should be submitted at least three months prior to the visitor’s anticipated arrival date.
