Faculty Development Center events will display on the calendar below.  For questions about our events, please contact Linette Reyes-Berberena.

Workshops

First Year, First Friday -  These workshops are part of the New Faculty Orientation Program.  They are a brief presentation from the faculty peer-mentors, followed by Q&A, sharing, discusison and practical activities.

Faculty Development Center Luncheon Series - All lunches are a the Trustees Dining Room.   You just need to sign in and spend an hour with us listening to different speakers and sharing ideas. Schedule TBD.

Faculty Interest Groups - To meet, dialog, and learn with (and from) our colleagues on campus, the Faculty Development Center is launching a monthly Faculty Interest Group program. A faculty interest group (FIG) is an informal faculty-initiated and faculty-led forum that brings together an intentional group of people of a mutual interest for one month. Any faculty can propose and lead a FIG of a particular topic and every faculty can participate in a FIG. The minimal commitment for leading a FIG is one month and it can certainly continue for more than a month. If you are interested in leading a FIG, please read the instructions and proposal form.
