Business Administration Major Requirements
To graduate with a major in business administration, a
student must have at least a 2.00 grade point average for courses used
to satisfy the major requirements, excluding the MTH requirement.
Students cannot enroll in the Business Core until they have successfully
completed all four pre-requisite courses.

Any four courses designated as BUS, ACC or ECN numberd 230 or above,
except for BUS 503 and ECN 503.
Two May X courses designated as BUS, ACC, or ECN numbered 230 or above
may count for one of these electives.
*The four core business courses must be
taken in a single, integrated BLOCK during one term of the junior year.
The core block will be taught during both the fall and spring terms. Students
should notify the department chair of the term in which s/he intends to
enroll in the core upon declaration of the major, and will then be
enrolled by the department in the block that term once all pre-requisites have been successfully completed. Subsequent
changes in timing of enrollment within the block must be requested by,
and are the responsibility of the student. Depending upon demand,
students are NOT guaranteed placement in the block during their
preferred semester.
**The pre-requisite for BUS 450 is the
Business Core. Each of these courses must be successfully completed
prior to enrolling in the capstone course. Please note: at present, BUS
450 must be taken during the senior year.
