Your fellow Engaged Living hallmates will be your lifelong friends. You experience living and learning together, so you all have a mutual understanding that leads to deeper, more meaningful relationships.

You'll all live together in Townes Residence Hall,
part of Lakeside Housing. You'll enjoy suite-style bathrooms and a
common kitchen area where you can cook a meal along with your hallmates.
You can also take advantage of the Lakeside Housing game room when you
need to take a break from studying in the adjacent Lakeside parlors and
want to hang out with your friends.
The relationships you will make while living together will extend beyond the boundaries of the residence hall walls to fun social outings shared with your new friends. From gathering together to share a meal on your hall, joining with hallmates to compete together in Furman intramural sports, or taking a day trip into the nearby Carolina mountains, you will have fun together.
