STAFF COMMUNITY FUND SCHOLARSHIP – 2011-12
The Furman Staff began contributing to the Staff Community Fund in July 1999 and continues to do so through annual giving. The fund has now reached a level through which an annual scholarship can be awarded. The first $500 was awarded in the fall of 2002. In the years since the establishment of the fund, support has continued on a consistent basis. After evaluation of the current fund status, the Staff Advisory Committee voted to increase the scholarship to $750 and award three scholarships for the current year (two for undergraduates and one for graduate studies, all three to be determined by GPA).
