Social Committee
The Social Committee plans a calendar of fun events each term. We work to schedule a variety of events, from breakfasts to sporting events to plays to movies....the possibilities are endless. If you have ideas for events that OLLI members would enjoy, please contact
Sharon Sickler. If you'd like to serve on the committee as a planner, or as a host for a particular event, we'd love to have you!
The Social Committee also coordinates our
Special Interest Groups (SIGs). Watch

Fall 2012 events include:
Breakfast at Tommy's Ham House--3 dates! Tuesday, September 25,
Wednesday, October 24, and Tuesday, November 13. Drop in any time
between 7:45 and 10 a.m. and look for the OLLI tables.
Furman Football and Tailgate--Saturday, October 13. Enjoy a BBQ
lunch and cheer on the Paladins as they take on UT-Chattanooga. Tickets
are $28 for lunch and the game; $12 for lunch only.
Halloween Storytelling with Monty Tucker--Thursday, October 25, 5
p.m., Manly Lobby of the Herring Center. Grandchildren welcome and
costumes encouraged. Bring a spooky snack to share. Click

Warehouse Theatre, November by David Mamet--Thursday, November1. Reserve your tickets in the OLLI Office through Noon, October 25. Tickets are just $21. Show starts at 8; come early to socialize with OLLI friends.
