Hours of Operation:  The Post Office window is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. No services are available on Saturday, Sunday, or Furman staff holidays.

Personal Mail Box Access:  Your mail box is available when the University Center is open.  You need your key to gain access to your mail.

Post Office Access:  Placing items in mail boxes is available from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. No flyers or other items are permitted from off-campus businesses or organizations. No items are to be placed in boxes that are blocked.  Failure to observe this guideline will result in your organization being denied future access to the post office.

Minimum size for all mail and flyers:  The minimum acceptable size for mail or other items being placed in a student mail box is 3.5 inches by 5 inches.  Both student name AND box number are required for delivery of personal items.  The sender's name and box number MUST be included in the return address field (upper left corner of the mail piece).  Mail not meeting these requirements will be placed at the Post Office window for three business days for the sender to claim it.  After three days, it will be discarded.

Please tri-fold full size sheets of paper.

Nothing will be placed in boxes for students who are away from campus.  A return address is required so undeliverable mail can be returned to the sender.

Twenty-six (26) or more pieces of personal campus mail being sent at one time must be placed in the student mail boxes by the sender between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Drop boxes:  Three drop boxes are located in the UC lobby for:
1) Stamped Mail – leaves campus (requires postage)
2) Campus Mail – stays on campus (no postage required)
3) Wrong Mail – items received in error.
The last pick up for mail is at 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except for campus holidays when no service is available.
