Faculty, staff and students who work in science laboratories are exposed to many types of hazards that involve a greater variety of possible hazards than do most workplaces.  The Risk Management Office is responsible for overseeing the Lab Safety programs and conducting periodic audits to ensure compliance with the requirements outlined in the University Chemical Hygiene Plan.
