The Road Traveled

The Because Furman Matters campaign was publicly announced in October 2007, with $225 million in commitments in hand. Under the leadership of former President David Shi, the campaign successfully completed the Charles Townes Center for Science, built and created the Shi Center for Sustainability, and raised millions for scholarships and endowed professorships.
