Education Professor Paul Thomas Writes for "Room for Debate" in New York Times

Paul Thomas, an associate professor of education at Furman University, is one of several writers who were invited to participate in a recent “Room for Debate” discussion in The New York Times.
The subject was “Testing Students to Grade Teachers: What do we know about using student achievement tests to judge teacher performance?” The contribution by Thomas, who has taught at Furman since 2002, was titled “Avoiding the Poverty Issue.”
