General Interests:
For the past 6 years, I have been active as an officer and board member of Greenville Faith Communities United, a local interfaith organization dedicated to increasing understanding and cooperation among the diverse religious communities in Greenville and Upstate South Carolina. I have a great love of traveling, especially in Turkey and Greece, the heart of the Byzantine Empire and the source of many of my teaching and research interests.
