William Preucil Furman University William Preucil, violin

Born into a Suzuki household and trained in the Suzuki method by both parents, Mr. Preucil is now Concertmaster of the Cleveland Orchestra, faculty member at the Cleveland Institute of Music, Furman University Distinguished Visiting Professor of Violin, member of the SAA Honorary Board and the violinist you hear on the new Suzuki book recordings. Andy Carlson, violinist, fiddler and Suzuki educator, returns to our institute this year to teach fiddling and perform with his band Thursday night at 7:30pm. A community favorite on the annual concert series, you will hear traditional Old-Time Appalachian, Bluegrass, Swing, Blues, "New" Grass, Classical and Contemporary Acoustic.
