The fourth annual Furman ENGAGED! provided a wonderful showcase of all forms of engaged learning - student research, creative activity, performances, internships, study away, service learning - that span the natural sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities.
Nearly 600 students participated in the day's event. Oral presentations illustrated student research in courses ranging from First Year Seminars to Senior Capstone Experiences, summer research, creative work in the humanities and fine arts, internship experiences from around the world, and much more. Over 200 posters were on display in the Physical Activities Center (Gymnasium) throughout the day with students providing additional details during four schedule times throughout the day.
