Graduate and Professional School
The chair should coordinate departmental graduate and professional school advising opportunities. In consultation with the department, the chair may determine that this advising can best be handled in individual advising sessions by academic advisors, or the chair may establish more formal group advising/informational sessions at regularly scheduled intervals. Some departments may require that all majors attend one of the group advising sessions.
